And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

You may recognize Bobby and Aly from their lovely Foothills Park engagement session from last January! Bobby and Aly are incredibly sweet and genuine people and I was so grateful they trusted me to photograph their wedding. With gorgeous all-white florals, the prettiest dress and heir wedding in the redwoods of Saratoga Springs was such a dream!

One of the most rewarding things as a wedding photographer is to be completely trusted by your couples. It was so wonderful working with Bobby and Aly because they one hundred percent trusted me to be the expert when it came to photography. They not only trusted me to put together their timeline, they even picked their florist based off of my recommendations, which was so fun! I’ve been wanting to work with the talented Tara Wharton of Freckled Floral, and she didn’t disappoint. Tara created a stunning bouquet of all white flowers for Aly’s bridal bouquet, using ranunculus, campanula, and anemone.

I’ve photographed a lot of weddings at Saratoga Springs now, and it’s always fun seeing my couples put their own personal touches into a wedding day. Aly and Bobby got married in Cathedral Grove and asked Tara to decorate the guest tables with white pumpkins and eucalyptus, which ended up being so cute! For their sweetheart table, however, they decided to have Tara create a stunning floral arrangement with the same florals that were in Aly’s bouquet. As a side note, this is such a wonderful way to make the most of your floral budget! I love it when my couples splurge on the arrangements for their sweetheart table, as it makes such a big impact.
