And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

I just finished up Mastering Natural Light with Megan Cieloha last week.. so I wanted to share my thoughts on it. To be completely honest, there were a few times throughout the class when I thought that the concepts were a little too basic for me. I wish that I had taken it about six months ago. That being said, I still got quite a bit out of it and I would highly recommend it to anyone who thinks they haven’t quite learned how to manipulate light. I had several aha moments that made it completely worth it to me! Plus Megan and the TAs give such wonderful thoughtful critique that that alone would have been worth it to me! I am much more confident in manipulating light and am constantly looking for pretty pockets of light indoors now, rather than just outdoors! I also probably shouldn’t have taken it when I knew I was going to be moving halfway through! It ended up working out though, because I learned to use artificial light as well. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites.
