And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

As I was driving to this session, I was anxiously watching the clouds roll in. Of course, I will photograph in any weather, but I have to admit that my very favorite type of light is the golden light an hour or so before sunset… and it’s always a bit of a bummer when the clouds roll in and hide the sun! Luckily, when we arrived, there was a bit of sun peeking out of the clouds, so I stopped K & D at the very first oak tree we saw, thinking it might be the only sun we got at the entire session. They looked so incredibly dapper in a suit and lovely long sleeved dress, and I knew immediately that the photos were going to be amazing! We ended up completely lucking out with the weather, as the sun only hid behind the clouds for ten minutes before shining brightly the rest of the time. This gorgeous engagement session on rolling hills under oak trees is definitely one for the books!

K had her hair and makeup done by the lovely JD of Status Salon and I cannot wait for their Vine Hill House wedding in September with the lovely Elise of Brannan Events! This is actually the first wedding Elise, JD and I will be working together, but you may remember that we collaborated on a stunning Enchanted Garden shoot at Filoli Gardens and Elise was my own wedding planner. It’s always so fun to get to work with “friendors” on weddings! Especially with such an amazing couple like K & D. We had such a good time wandering along the hills in the gorgeous golden light, getting to know each other better.
