And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.
This casual, fun and relaxed EagleVail Pavilion wedding up in the Colorado mountains was a perfect reflection of Sam and Derek as a couple! Sam and Derek are college friends of /my/ Sam (boy Sam), but this was my first time meeting them! It was so wonderful to be able to celebrate their wedding with them and I was honored to be able to help document their special day. The wedding was held at EagleVail Pavilion where the beautiful pond made for absolutely stunning reflections, especially since it was a gorgeous sunny day with blue skies and puffy clouds. When paired with the lovely autumn colors, it was the perfect backdrop for their wedding. Sam’s family lives in Denver, but Sam and Derek live in Alaska, so it was definitely a destination wedding! Everyone flew in and stayed in a hotel just a few minutes away from EagleVail Pavilion. The ceremony was one of the shortest I’ve seen, but it was still filled with wonderful, emotional moments.
My favorite part of the wedding was when we stole away for a few photos after the ceremony. I loved getting to know Sam and Derek better and they were both so happy, the entire experience was filled with laughter. Sam was a litttlleee skeptical when I asked Derek to spin her around though!
We danced the night away, ending with everyone with their arms around each other in a circle surrounding Sam and Derek singing I Want it That Way by Backstreet Boys. It was a pretty awesome end to a wonderful day!
