And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.
I can’t believe it’s already been a month since the last post! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s awesome black and whites. This was taken on the way to the lighthouse by the Marin Headlands. As we were going through the tunnel, I turned to Nathan and told him that I wanted a photo when we came back around! I was lucky enough to have a gap between people, so I could take my time with my composition and posing. This was an image that begged to be turned into black and white.
Please continue on to the lovely Pamela Williams.
I love love love this shot Alice! The light coming through the tunnel surrounding him so beautifully!
I love this one too! I’ve been on the lookout for a good tunnel for a shoot 🙂 There are so many possibilities with tunnels!

I love the lines and framing in this shot, the processing too. Awesome photo Alice!!
Gorgeous conversion – I love the comp and the light/dark contrast.
beautiful conversion and composition. Just lovely, Alice!
This is such a beautiful silhouette – it works so well for black and white, and I love that it gives the sense we’re glimpsing the the ocean just beyond.
very cool! love that it’s kind of mysterious – definitely a great image for b+w 🙂
Such great light and shadow! I love the composition, and those lines leading out to the light. Good choice for a black and white conversion!
Wow, Alice I love everything about this!! The silhouette in the tunnel works so well
Alice, I can’t really decide if nathan’s actually facing us or away and I love that about not being able to decipher it. It really puts that in the hands of the viewer to determine one way or the other. I love that he’s in the fore front of the frame, a silhouette to be reckoned with, as opposed to being at the other end of the tunnel. Awesome vision and conversion!
I love the depth that the processing and light brings to the image. It makes me want to follow him right out of the tunnel.
I love the composition!
