I can’t believe it’s already October! September was a busy busy month for me, and I was once again playing around with some dramatic light that translated well into black and whites.

One of my friends asked me to take some photos for him for his modeling portfolio. I took the chance to try out some interesting light as well, and these are the results. I also practiced some of the awesome retouching skills I learned from the fabulous Ashlyn Mae Photography at ClickAway!

I also got to visit my dear friend Chrissy in Chicago.. The morning I arrived I saw the light under these stairs and immediately fell in love. I was super exhausted though, so I decided to wait until the next night to get a photo. I’m so glad I remembered to, because this is one of my favorites to date!
