And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.
I took a lot of photos this past month, but almost none of them have been in black and white! I had to convert a few. 😛

Such beautiful work Alice! I really love the one of the hike through the tunnel of woods. I think the BW conversion adds mystery. Such a awesome pocket of light that your hiker is captured in and the texture of those branches in the foreground is fantastic!!!
Beautiful work, Alice! I love your conversions and the first one is my favorite! What an awesome composition, the framing trees, the path leading up to the hiker who is highlighted by the light spilling through the trees. Perfect!
Alice the pocket of life in the first image is beautiful!!
I love the fist image – it has such a storybook/fairytale feel to it.
Gorgeous Alice, I especially love that second one. Awesome perspective.
[…] This month’s feature for Life in Black and White is our summer days. Yes, summer is lush and green and blossoms abound but with colour stripped from this series, it’s more about the fleeting moments and the connections of my girls and their experience of it together. I am delighted to be linked to my dear friend Alice Che in this month’s blog circle, so please click on over to see her beautiful work in Black & White. […]
