And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

I always love second shooting for Anita Martin Photography and this lavish San Ramon wedding was a complete blast! The bride was absolutely stunning and I love all the fun details that made the wedding unique. San Ramon Bridges Golf Club is a lovely venue for a wedding. The ceremony is held in a little clearing on the golf course that is completely surrounded by white rose bushes. The sun can be quite harsh, especially in the middle of the summer, so I loved that the bride and groom provided sunglasses for their guests. They had the cutest calligraphy chalkboard to let their guests know to pick them up. I’m sure the guests appreciated it, because I know I was wishing I had some sunglasses 😉

I loved the vintage feel of the suitcases used to display the sunglasses, especially when paired with the calligraphy chalkboards in their ornate frames. The seating chart was absolutely gorgeous too. All of the guests’ names were written in white on an old window pane that was decorated with beautiful flowers. And can we just talk about their incredible dessert display? Everything looked so delicious! I definitely saw a few kids sneaking a cupcake or two before the official cake cutting, haha! I loved the arrangement on the wooden crates with the beautiful backdrop lit by twinkle lights and hanging globs behind it. So pretty.

This couple also opened their dance floor with a bang! The fog machine paired with the light streaming through the windows made for such a magical atmosphere during the first dance. Right after the first dance, we snuck off to the golf course for the last rays of sunshine. On the way back, the bride kicked off her shoes and ran across the golf course with Anita to avoid the sprinkles and get back to dancing faster!! Anita always has the best clients 😉
