And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

This gorgeous Union City engagement session is the one I did for my sister and her husband back in May. Sorry for the delay! I’ve been away at ClickAway 2015, which I will definitely come back and write about, because it was absolutely amazing. But first, let’s talk about these photos! In the previous session, we spent so much time waiting for that perfect wave, I didn’t get the variety I wanted… and, really, I love couples sessions, so we decided to just do another more casual session in Union City. We picked the Union City Library as a starting point and moved around from there. Capturing their love for each other was so much fun. They are always laughing and joking with each other! Looking back at this session always makes me smile, because their love for each other is so clear! You can also pretty much see their personalities shining through these photos as well. Arthur is always making silly faces to make my sister laugh. They’re just adorable together. Also, can we take a minute to obsess over the gorgeous greenery with that wood door?!? Totally a photographer’s dream! I am tempted to go back and take a self portrait, but I was shooting them from across the street, so running back and forth across the street probably isn’t the best idea 😉 Finally, if you love her shoes, they are patent red Tieks! I want a pair of my own!
