And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

Can we talk about how amazing this classic garden wedding at Los Altos History Museum is? Featured on Magnolia Rouge, this classic and romantic wedding was planned by Events by Satra for Christina and CJ at the charming Los Altos History Museum right in the middle of Silicon Valley. When Christina and CJ were thinking about their wedding design, they wanted to make choices that they’d be happy with years from now. They landed on a soft blue and ivory color palette, colors that felt very timeless to them. They were also inspired by the beautiful flowers and garden-like feel of the Los Altos History Museum, which they accentuated with gorgeous flowers from Bloomwell and Co.

A lovely watercolor of the venue was featured on the Save The Date by Sterling Stripes, giving the guests an immediate look into what the wedding day was going to be like. With stunning white and green florals with touches of blue from Bloomwell and Co and the sweetest vintage mobile bar from Bubbles and Brews SF Bay, the gardens of Los Altos History Museum were the perfect backdrop to celebrate CJ and Christina’s love.

With Christina’s love for the classics, it’s no surprise that she ended up picking a classic, romantic, feminine dress from Jenny Yoo with a full ball skirt that went perfectly with her wedding veil that was worn by both her mother and grandmother on their wedding days! I loved Christina’s shoes from BHLDN with the soft tulle bows as well!

For Christina and CJ, the most important part of the day was the ceremony. They chose to write personal vows to each other that they read from beautifully calligraphed white vow books from Jen Che Designs. Their families both have a connection to Ghirardelli Chocolate (Christina’s great grandfather worked there and CJ’s father is in the leadership) so they wanted to tie that connection into the ceremony, bringing special chocolates created by the R&D department at Ghirardelli into their wedding ceremony as well as using Ghirardelli chocolates for their wedding favors!
