And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.
Nestled up in the Santa Cruz mountains, overlooking the expansive views is the Soquel Vineyards. With its beautiful sweeping vineyards, charming patio spaces for wine tasting and a gorgeous garden, Soquel Vineyards was the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Adam’s engagement photos! We wandered among the grape vines, chasing the sun as it peeked over the trees, on a beautiful November afternoon with the most incredible sunny weather! When I saw the bougainvillea and roses in the garden in front of the house, I couldn’t resist putting Sarah and Adam right in the middle of the garden. Sarah and Adam were so sweet and went into the middle of the bushes without any complaints, despite there being composting thorny branches on the ground! I am so glad they were willing to humor me though, because the photos from the garden were some of my favorite from the day. I hope you enjoy these photos from this charming Soquel Vineyards engagement session!
I’m so glad we were able to have such a beautiful, fall day for Sarah and Adam’s engagement session! I am so incredibly excited for their March wedding at Nestldown with Marissa Renee Events, but Sarah mentioned that fall is actually her favorite season. I loved all the beautiful fall colors we got during the session, from the grape vines that were turning colors to the lovely flowers in the garden. I had such a good time exploring the Soquel Vineyards property with Sarah and Adam during their engagement session and can’t wait until their wedding! I also highly recommend Soquel Vineyards if you are looking for a charming place to go wine tasting. It has such a beautiful view and the staff couldn’t be friendlier!
