One of the best things about living in the Bay Area is that there are a TON of amazing photographers here too! There are a couple of us here in the South Bay (Bre Thurston, Kristin Dokoza and I have met up for drinks a couple of times!) but there are also a bunch of photographers up in Sacramento. Two weekends ago, we decided to meet somewhere in the middle, so we all drove to Walnut Creek, took photos of each other, and ate a ton of food afterwards 😉 Bre and I drove up together and Anita, Brandie, Candice and Danielle drove down from Sacramento. We were all (except Candice!) bummed it looked like it was going to rain/storm, because most of us love playing with golden hour sun. Candice, on the other hand, is totally inspired by the storminess of overcast, cloudy days. Luckily, the rain held off just long enough for us to get some photographs in. We ended up meeting at Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek, which had beautifully green grass everywhere! It ended up being a really nice location and the green was stunning and provided the pop we needed without the sun peeking out. We kept on hoping there would be some wind, but it never really picked up, so we all kind of created wind by tossing our hair, haha!! Anita, Bre, Candice and I all traded off modeling, and it was such a fun time! I didn’t get a ton of photos, but I loved just being there and hanging out with so many wonderful photographers. It was super fun seeing the different photos we got afterwards too! Everyone has such a distinct style that even though our subjects were the same, they look completely different! I love that!
