And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.
This San Francisco In-home couples session was such a blast to photograph! Some of you may recognize fashion blogger Sarah Tripp of Sassy Red Lipstick and her husband, Robbie Tripp, author of Create Rebellion. I drove up to San Francisco on a sunny Sunday morning to hang out with them in their adorable apartment. Sarah and Robbie moved to San Francisco earlier this year on a leap of faith. Both work from home and decided they wanted to try something new. I’ve lived in the Bay Area my entire life, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. But I have to admit, part of it is the fear of the unknown, so I LOVE that Sarah and Robbie took a leap of faith and just went for it.
As soon as you see Sarah and Robbie together, it is clear that they are deeply in love. Robbie shared more about their love story on Sarah’s blog when she posted some of these photos. I can’t match his way with words, so I’ll just direct you to that! I will say, however, that it was truly inspiring and heartwarming watching them together. They were constantly making each other laugh and showing their love with all those small little gestures that are the mark of a good relationship. They were just /so/ in sync and so in love! It made my job very very easy, because they were incredibly easy to photograph!
Their apartment is absolutely adorable. Sarah just finished decorating it a week or two before this session. I love all the pops of pink… and how Robbie totally embraces it! Loved his colorful shirt 🙂 Can we talk about how gorgeous that blush pink couch is? Also, all those touches of gold around the apartment?! So pretty! I love in-home couples sessions because how a home is decorated reveals so much personality… and Sarah and Robbie’s apartment is particularly beautiful.
They cuddled on the couch, danced in the living room, had cereal together, and snuggled in bed. It was the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday morning.
