And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

We had the most incredible golden light at this beautiful Rodeo Beach Anniversary session with Sarah of Sassy Red Lipstick and her husband Robbie Tripp. You may remember Sarah and Robbie from their adorable San Francisco in-home couples session. I love photographing them because it is so clear that they are head over heels for each other. They are definitely each other’s best cheerleader!

It was actually kind of comical how crazy the week leading up to their session was! So many things didn’t go as planned, haha. For their session, I had a vision of a long flowy dress with beautiful florals on a beach with golden light. We both reached out to a couple florists, but it was a somewhat last minute session, so no one had any availability. Luckily, I helped my sister make paper flowers for her wedding, and I have been meaning to get back into the paper flower making. The week leading up to the shoot ended up being a bit of a blur of constant cutting, glueing and wrapping, but I LOVE how the bouquet turned out! On top of that, my grandpa had a bit of a health scare, so my sister and I were calling him every night and drove up to see him three times.

We had to cancel the shoot on the original date due to pouring rain… and it literally hailed two days before our rescheduled date when I photographed my sister and her husband at the same location. But the actual day of the session, the weather was perfect and the light was magical. I had planned to spend some time up in the headlands above Rodeo Beach, but the light was so pretty on the beach that I couldn’t resist! I absolutely love how the photos for this Rodeo Beach anniversary session turned out and am so excited to share them all with you.
