And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

Jenna and I have known each other through Instagram for well over a year now, so I was thrilled when we finally got a chance to meet up for this incredible coastal engagement session at Rodeo Beach. Jenna was just as sweet and beautiful in person as she is online! We started the session at their charming apartment in SF, but we wanted to finish the session on the beach at golden hour. I suggested Rodeo Beach, which is just across the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin. There are a ton of beautiful locations in San Francisco, like Sutro Baths and Baker Beach, but I have a soft spot for Rodeo Beach because there are rarely other people on it, making it feel like your own private beach.

Jenna and J were so much to hang out with! We chatted about everything from their upcoming wedding in September to our mutual love of Harry Potter (we’ve both re-read the series many times!). In their apartment, they showed me their favorite card game, cuddled in bed and danced in the kitchen. I also /had/ to take a photo of Jenna’s bookshelf which was arranged by book color!

After spending time in their apartment, we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge to Rodeo Beach. Jenna changed into the prettiest flowy blush dress and topped it with her mom’s fur jacket to keep warm. I love Rodeo Beach because not only is it never crowded, it has the most incredible light. Just like the last time I was there, the light was absolutely magical, creating a stunning backdrop for Jenna and J. I have a soft spot for beaches on the California coast, but Rodeo Beach is definitely one of my favorites… if only it wasn’t such a far drive from the South Bay! It was worth every minute of the drive though, as you will see in the photos. We even got an absolutely gorgeous cotton candy sky at sunset. Jenna and J were both laughing at me because as we made our way back to the car, I kept on looking back at the sky… and wanting very much to take just “one last photo”. They were super sweet and indulged me, and I am so glad they did because some of my favorites were the very last shots!
