And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

I’ve photographed many engagement sessions through the years and I think over half of them have been in San Francisco. While all of the Bay Area is beautiful, the views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the city (San Francisco is a truly beautiful city!), and the gorgeous beaches, have most of my couples asking for their engagement sessions to take place up in SF. Despite this, I have never photographed an engagement session at Fort Point, so when Jess suggested it, I jumped on the suggestion! We actually had some difficulty scheduling this session, as Jess and Roy don’t live in California and are frequently traveling. Originally, we were going to have the engagement session in November, but we ended up postponing due to the fires and rain. We finally had their Fort Point engagement session last weekend… and Fort Point ended up being closed!!

I checked the hours of Fort Point before scheduling the session, but didn’t take into account the government shutdown. When Sam and I arrived before the session to scout it out (since I had never photographed there before!), we saw a sign saying the facilities were closed. Luckily, the outside of Fort Point is still gorgeous, so we took advantage of the beautiful brick, the surrounding greenery and the stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco downtown. I think one of the coolest things about Fort Point is its unique vantage point of the Golden Gate Bridge, because you are literally right under it.

Jess and Roy were so sweet and I had such a great time getting to know them better. Jess found me through her best friend (also Jess!), who is also a member of ClickinMoms. I am so grateful Jess connected us, because I cannot wait to photograph Jess and Roy’s San Francisco City Hall wedding in a few months!
