And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

I’m always a few weeks late with this, but better late than never right?! I love taking the time to look back at the year and remember everything that has happened. 2018 was both one of the best and one of the worst years in my life. On the one hand, I photographed twice as many weddings as I did in 2017 (14 with a full time job!!), grew more comfortable with my career as a hardware engineer at Waymo, got married to my favorite person surrounded by our favorite people in the world. On the other, my grandpa’s health went into a steady decline in April and we lost him in mid May, which was probably one of the hardest things in my life. Regardless, I am excited to share my year with you!

I was initially going to share all of the highlights of the year with you guys, but after rounding up the photos, I figured I should probably start with just the weddings first!

I kicked off the season with Jennifer and Santo’s lovely South Bay wedding. I’ve adored them ever since their engagement session, so it was such a joy to get to see them tie the knot!

Phoebe and Joey’s gorgeous, multicultural wedding, incorporating both Vietnamese, Hawaiian and Japanese traditions, was next. I am still dying over how incredible Phoebe’s veil was, but can you blame me?!

Jon and Christie’s wedding at The Pearl SF was a total dream to photograph. I love that they made the time to sneak out to Golden Gate Park for their first look, despite their ceremony and reception taking place halfway across the city.

Matt and Annika’s Monterey wedding followed, which was particularly special because I’ve known Matt since freshmen year of college.

Michael and Mona’s gorgeous Gloria Ferrer wedding was another one for the books. There was crazy wind during their ceremony, but the Napa winery golden hour totally made up for it!

Fini and RJ got married at Windmill Winery in Arizona! This was another fun one, because I literally grew up with Fini. I also got to have the fabulous Courtney Larson of Inloveness Photography second shoot for me, which is always a blast. It was the end of May in Phoenix, so it was an incredibly hot day, but everything was absolutely beautiful.

I photographed quite a few weddings at Saratoga Springs last year, but Bridge and Mark’s was definitely one of my favorites! They got married at Redwood Grove instead of Cathedral Grove or Longbridge, which are the more popular sites. They decked it out with gorgeous florals and acrylic signs and I’ve never seen Redwood Grove look prettier!

I was anxiously anticipating Jon and Anna’s Glacier National Park wedding for over a year. I’ve never been to Glacier National Park before and the beauty definitely took my breath away.

Kaylee and Kevin had their wedding at Longbridge and it was so fun seeing them dance the night away with their adorable kids. Plus, I got to work with Bethany of Bonjour Blooms, who I’ve been IG buddies with for quite a while now!

Victoria and Tyler had such a sweet, relaxed wedding at Cathedral Grove.

Next up was Anika and Garrett’s stunning wedding at French Oak Ranch. Anika was the flower girl for the owners of French Oak Ranch, so you can bet we got the lowdown on where the best locations were for photos!

Rylee and Jack had a beautiful wedding at Longbridge with the most stunning florals by Flowers by Ivy. I absolutely loved the rich colors they chose!

Julianna and Sarak were my only couple that did a tea ceremony! I always love photographing meaningful traditions like a tea ceremony.

My last wedding of the year (just a week after my own!) was Jade and Cory’s lovely Redwood Grove wedding. You might remember them from their incredible Conservatory of the Flowers engagement shoot.

Whew! If you made it through all of that… you’re amazing! Stay tuned for a recap of my engagement sessions from 2018 and a recap of personal events as well (like our wedding and trips to New Zealand, Hawaii and Cape Cod!)
